Whitney Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Therapist, and Consultant residing in Leadville, Colorado. She spent eight years working in wilderness education before moving into classroom teaching, curriculum design, and nonprofit leadership. Through her private practice—Heron & Pine Counseling & Consulting—she offers outpatient therapy, comprehensive immigration psychological evaluations, program development consulting, and “Wilderness Mental Health First Aid” training. She is excited to leverage her counseling skills to reconnect with wilderness-focused programs, supporting staff and program development.
