Robert Kauffman

Dr. Kauffman is a Professor Emeritus at Frostburg State University. A whitewater boater, he currently serves on the ACA Board of Directors. He taught in the Adventure Sports program and led multi-day Everglade trips. He earned three CINE Golden Eagle Awards for boating safety videos, and wrote two textbooks including one on risk management. In 2022, he received the Higgins & Langley Memorial Award in Swiftwater Rescue for his educational materials.
