Dave has worked as field staff and an administrator in outdoor and international settings since 2005. Dave began his tenure at Where There Be Dragons in 2015 as a South America semester instructor. Over the years he has gathered valuable knowledge of Dragons programming while holding various administrative roles including marketing, admissions, summer and semester program development, staff training, and school partnership program direction. He has managed Dragons Risk Management since 2021. This balanced perspective has helped Dave view risk management as a proactive strategy that is infused in every layer of the organization. He has a keen interest in advocating for healthy risk taking while continuing to uncover the nuances of engaging risk in cross-cultural settings.
