Christine Lynn Norton, LCSW, is a Professor  of Social  Work at Texas State University-San Marcos.  She received her  PhD in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and has a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University-Mankato.  She has over 30 years experience working in outdoor therapy and has been a Research Scientist with the Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Center.
