Bix Firer (he/him) is an Assistant Professor of Outdoor Studies at Alaska Pacific University and a Partner at Headwall Group, a program development consulting group. Bix is a W-EMT, Wilderness Medicine instructor and, in addition to teaching university, has directed college and school outdoor programs, and program directed for national outdoor education organizations. Bix currently lives in Anchorage, Alaska.
