In this hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to a simple but effective process for developing a resilient team. This equitable approach creates an opportunity to improve hiring, training and assessment for experiential and adventure-based programs. Participants will be guided through a case study of “Project Kindred” a youth development program in Milwaukee where this framework was developed and tested. Participants will then have the opportunity to apply the behavioral skill model to their own organization and develop behavioral skills that align with their program goals and organizational risk management philosophy. This approach creates exciting opportunities to embed a mission-aligned risk and safety philosophy into the fabric of an organization.
